Car Flips Over Guardrail in Suffolk Crash

Trinity Guardrail Lawsuit LawyersPolice say a multi-vehicle collision in Suffolk was caused by a last-minute lane change. The June 12, 2017 accident on route U.S. 58 occurred just after 11:30 in the morning. A Chevrolet pickup truck changed lanes too quickly, causing another car to flip. The vehicle crashed over the guardrail and into the trees.

The driver of the pickup was not injured in the crash, but the driver of the car was taken to the hospital with injuries. No charges have been filed against the driver of the pickup, but the investigation into the accident is ongoing.

It’s not clear how exactly the accident occurred, but many cars flip in this manner when they collide with an object. A curb, a sign, or another car can all lead to the vehicle flipping unexpectedly. While we might normally expect rollovers to result from very serious car crashes, that is not always the case. Even just a minor clip of the vehicle can cause the entire car to rollover.
