Serpe Firm Virginia Law School Diversity Scholarship

Our firm is committed to helping law students in need of financial assistance reach their professional goals. To be considered for this scholarship, applicants must be a member of an ethnic or racial minority or any individual demonstrating a passion for social justice in their community.

We will award one student with a $1,000 scholarship applied directly to their tuition.

Scholarship Eligibility Requirements

  • Applicants must be a member of an ethnic or racial minority or any individual demonstrating a passion for social justice.
  • Applicants must be a U.S. Citizen currently attending an accredited Virginia law school.
    • These schools include: University of Virginia, Washington and Lee University, University of Richmond, the Appalachian School of Law, George Mason University, College of William and Mary, Regent University, and Liberty University School of Law.
  • Applicants must have a minimum 3.0 GPA.

Scholarship Application Requirements

Those interested in the Serpe Firm 2020 Virginia Law School Diversity Scholarship Program should submit an application with the following items on or before October 1, 2020.

  • A completed scholarship application form (below)
  • An essay, presentation, or video describing your efforts to promote diversity in your community. You may also talk about your plans to use your law degree to advance diversity efforts in the future.
  • A certified, official copy of your law school transcript.

(This scholarship opportunity is available to students of Virginia law schools only. Students currently attending or accepted to the University of Virginia, Washington and Lee University, University of Richmond, the Appalachian School of Law, George Mason University, College of William and Mary, Regent University, and Liberty University School of Law may apply.)
