CPSC Urges Parents to Stop Using Queerick Infant Swings
On May 15, 2025, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) issued a critical warning urging parents and caregivers to immediately stop using Queerick infant swings. The products pose a serious risk of suffocation and death due to multiple federal safety violations.
Why Are Queerick Infant Swings Dangerous?

The Queerick infant swings were sold on Amazon.com from October 2023 through November 2024 as model “WS-HB18.”
The CPSC identified two primary safety concerns:
Dangerous Incline for Infant Sleep: The swings exceed the federally approved incline limit of 10 degrees for infant sleep products. When babies sleep at a steeper angle, they are at a much higher risk of suffocation. This violates key safety regulations designed to protect infants while sleeping.
Unsafe Battery Access and Missing Warnings: The included remote control contains a button-cell (coin) battery, which can be deadly if swallowed by a child. Compounding the danger, the packaging and product fail to include mandatory warnings required by Reese’s Law. Without these safety labels, caregivers may be unaware of the hidden hazards.
To make matters worse, the manufacturer—operating under the name Power Transform—has refused to conduct a recall or offer refunds to consumers.
Manufacturers and distributors can be held liable for:
- Selling defective or unsafe products
- Failing to provide adequate warnings
- Negligence in product design or labeling
Families whose children were harmed may be entitled to compensation, including:
- Medical expenses for treatment of injuries
- Costs related to hospitalization, therapy, or long-term care
- Pain, suffering, and emotional distress
What You Should Do Now
- Stop using the Queerick infant swing immediately as per the CPSC.
- Preserve all evidence, including the swing, receipts, packaging, manuals, and any correspondence with the seller or manufacturer.
- Report any incidents involving the product to the CPSC through SaferProducts.gov.
- Contact an experienced product liability attorney to explore your legal rights and options.
